Blackened Red Snapper with Peach Salsa
I love contrasting flavors. Sweet and spicy are highlighted in the dish in the best way possible.
The blackened spices are evened out with the cool peach salsa to create an amazing experience. Throw this all on Red Snapper and you have a winning meal!
How to Cook Blackened Red Snapper
Can I use a different fish?
Yes, this recipe goes great with any firm white fish such as grouper, Mahi Mahi, Sea Bass, or Halibut.
How do I know when it is done cooking?
When the fish flakes easily with a fork. Cook the red snapper for approximately 4 minutes on each side.
Is the dish spicy?
The cayenne pepper does add a bit of heat to the dish. You can always remove this ingredient for a spicy free fish.
Or add more if you love it HOT!
How to Make Peach Salsa
Do I have to use peaches?
Mango goes great with this salsa! Feel free to swap a mango with the peaches if you prefer.
Do I remove the skin from the peaches?
Its preference here! I removed the skin but you can easily skip this step.
