Prosciutto Chips
WARNING: these chips have a tendency to disappear.
We keep making batches of proscuitto chips and every time I go to grab a few they are gone. Very mysterious…
Please make a batch and let me know if they vanish in your own home ;-)

Dehydrated Prosciutto Chips
What you will need:
- A food dehydrator (you can grab my favorite one by clicking here)
Don’t have or want a food dehydrator? I do find that the food dehydrator make the best chips but you can also bake them in the oven:
Pre-heat oven to 350 F
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Bake for 12-15 minutes
Allow to cool and enjoy! NOTE: they will get crispy as they cool.
Tips for Buying Prosciutto:
I find it is cheapest to order prosciutto straight from your grocery’s deli
Ask for the prosciutto to be thinly sliced
1/2 pound of thinly sliced prosciutto will cover a 4 rack food dehydrator
How do I store them?
Store in an air tight container
Store at room temperature or in the refrigerator
They will keep for 3-5 days (though I doubt you will have any left!)
