Easy Cucumber Salad Recipe
This easy cucumber salad utilizes vinegar and dill to make a refreshing side dish for your summer BBQs. The delicate flavor reminds the taste buds of dill pickles but without the overpowering punch!
Easy you say? Yes! There are only four ingredients - Woooo!!
cucumber salad with vinegar and Dill
Which cucumber is best for the salad?
I find that the mini cucumbers work best! They have a slight sweet taste, have fewer seeds, and the skin is not as tough compared to your traditional cucumbers. If you can’t find mini cucumbers, English seedless cucumbers work well too.
How long does cucumber salad last?
This salad should last 3 to 5 days. The longer it sits in the juice more the cucumbers become pickle-like.
How to cut the cucumbers for the salad?
Quarter inch slices work great with this recipe :-)
Can cucumber salad be made ahead?
Yes, feel free to make this a few hours before serving. Again, the longer the cucumbers sit in the juices, the more pickle-like they become.
