You can’t have fall without pumpkins! Pumpkin spice, pumpkin pie, pumpkin soup… and of course pumpkin seeds.
My mom taught me how to make roasted pumpkins seeds after carving my first pumpkin as a kid. I can still remember the smell and excitement while watching them toast away in the oven. We have made them every year since and is honestly my favorite fall treat!
This year I decided to spice things up with my favorite seasoning- everything bagel seasoning. OMG I cannot stop eating these. Seriously, I am munching on a few as I write this!

How to prep the pumpkin seeds
- Find a nice pumpkin! Any carving pumpkin will do. no need to get any fancy pumpkins. You can also skip the pumpkin all together and order raw pumpkin seeds on amazon.
- Remove seeds from pumpkin and rinse off any "pumpkin guts"
- Dry pumpkin seeds with a towel. This will help create a nice even roast.

Storing Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
Roasted pumpkin seed will stay nice and fresh in an air-tight container for at least a week!

Nope! They may stay fresh a bit longer in the refrigerator but it is not necessary.

You will know the pumpkin seeds are done when they have turn a light golden brown/tan.

Everything Bagel Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds (from one large pumpkin)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp everything bagel seasoning (see above)

How to cook Everything Bagel Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
- Pre-heat oven to 325 F
- Remove seeds from pumpkin, rinse off “pumpkin guts”, and dry with a towel
- Mix pumpkin seeds, olive oil, and everything bagel seasoning together in a large bowl
- Evenly spread pumpkin seeds on a baking sheet
- Bake for 20-22 minutes until golden brown
- Enjoy!
